Soooo... Halloween is around the corner, which means, Atlanta Pride is coming up! Which means, I have another show to go to!! I know I haven't blogged much about it but it was sort of a last minute thing. I got lucky and was able to sign up for a spot as a vendor. This year's pride will be located back at Piedmont park as opposed to last year, which I heard was in some venue parking lot. I didn't get to go last year, but from what I heard, it wasn't the greatest, so I think the Pride committee and Piedmont park finally came to a compromise to have it during Halloween. It'll be nice because people won't be passing out this time from the heat lol. Anyways, here's the link.

I'm super stoked about this one since it'll be a local show and a lot of people I know will be going! Halloween is always an interesting holiday. Of course the fun part is going out to find a costume and eat candy until your teeth rot out. I was at one of those Halloween stores with my fav and found this costume:

Hahahaha! Aside from the dude dressed as a Baywatch babe that needs a serious bikini wax, the name of the costume itself was pretty hilarious. They had some other "adult" ones as they call it. Another I saw was of a plug and an electric socket. Obviously this would be for a couple (guy and girl none-the-less), but guess who was pictured as the plug? Yup... typical, haha. I was thinking of getting the outfits and being the plug and wearing it in my booth, but then I realized my plug would probably be too big to fit in the booth, haha! Get it? My plug too big? Hahahaha! I know I'm lame, so! But yeah, back to what I was saying. I ended up getting this kick ass hat that I'm gonna wear during the show. It's going to be super festive, you just wait and see! Other than that, it was fun and a total adventure.

Alright. I'm getting sleepy, must go beddy bye, so peace!

Orlando Pride

Just arrived back from Orlando this morning at 4 am. I think if it wasn't for the Red Bull and Mountain Dew, we would've definitely not made it. The drive down was not too bad, but once we saw the hotel we booked, it was clear that we would pay money NOT to stay there lol I'm not going to name the hotel but lets just say it wasn't in the best part of town and the fountain they had out front was green. Enough said.

Anyways, I'd have to say my first show was a great experience! The turnout was pretty good even though it rained at one point. But I got tons of positive feedback and people seemed to love the concept behind Unbound. There was 3 of us holding down the fort, so it wasn't too bad when we were bombarded lol (btw, thanks guys, you two were awesome!!!!). I always love going to pride because of all the interesting people you run into as well as the diversity (of course) that you experience. Everyone is so friendly and just out to have a great time. I also had a free raffle going on which attracted tons of people, so many that I ran out of contest slips!

As you can see from the photos, the booth turned out quite nice for us not having a previous plan lol. Set up was exhausting since it was like 90 degrees and two of us were wearing jeans! What the hell were we thinking, right?? So there was a lot of sweating and maybe some heat stroke, but thank God we had some water! I think everyone was secretly celebrating when it started raining because at least it gave us some time to breath and not suffocate to death lol. For all the people we got to meet: thank you so much for all your supporting words and encouragement.

This is just the beginning and I'm so excited for what's to come in the near future :)
In other news, I just signed up to be a vendor at Atlanta Pride, which is 2 weeks away. It'll be nice to have a local show and network in my city. Looking forward to that, so if any of you are going, come see me!!
