Who do you think designed your wedding dress?

So, this past Saturday was declared as the national day to protest against Proposition 8. For those of you who don't know what Prop 8 is, it is the amendment to ban gay marriage. California, Arizona, and Florida were the three main states that recently passed this amendment. California was the most shocking because they had just legalized gay marriage not too long ago and now they just banned it again, making it nearly impossible for same sex couples to ever get married again. It takes a lot of time, unity, and determination to overturn an amendment so that means it probably won't be over turned anytime soon.

Anyways, I went with a group of friends to protest in downtown Atlanta and turn out was larger than expected! Here are some photos of the event.

Sorry some of the pics are blurry. We got a lot of honks from supporters too which was pretty cool. Being in the south and everything, it's nice to see some liberals around lol. It was my first protest and I had such a great time... I've never seen a community unite together with such determination and positive energy. I hope one day that ignorance and discrimination will no longer be an issue but I know it takes a lot of time and energy. I guess it irritated me because we can vote for an ethnic president but we ban gay marriage? Isn't it suppose to be the time for "change" and unity?? How is sexual orientation different from race?

I have to say the best sign I saw was one that said "Who do you think designed your wedding dress?" lol... the greatest sign ever! Nonetheless, I had a great time and it was great to see everyone that came out to support!

NEW STUFF IS HERE!!

Haaaaaayyy... so FINALLY new stuff has arrived *hallelujah*. Check it outtttt:

We've got the G.I. Joe and Unbound shirt along with my first button pack! The pack includes the tomboy definition, tomboy hotness, G.I. Joe, and Unbound buttons. All looks great, however, I had to send back some "Unbound" shirts due to some printing issues, so I am missing XS, S, and 2XL... those will have to be pre-ordered but should be shipped by next week. For those of you who wear these sizes, you can reserve your shirt by pre-ordering and also get a free button pack!

Man, I can't believe it's almost December... it's almost 2009!! I feel like I have so much to do but such little time to do it. Things have been hectic, but it's been a good hectic. I'll be taking a trip to NYC with my baybeh for New Years so I'm looking forward to that. Okay, time to go night night!

I have a drooling cat on me

Wow, okay so it's been a little while since an update and I'm truly sorry, things have been really crazy lately! First things first, new stuff IS on it's way (sorry it's taken a little bit), however, I am anticipating the goodies in by next week! Woohoo! I'm pretty excited and as soon as they arrive, I will be putting them up. I also need to do some website updating as well.

On the other side of things, I got a chance to go to the Netherworld haunted house for Halloween and it was kind of disappointing. With them being on the Travel channel and ranked one of the best in the nation, I figured it would be pretty damn good. Not to mention, the owners of the operation were the same ones who use to operate Silo X back in 1996. For all those in Atlanta who have never heard of Silo X, it was by far one of the best haunted houses back in the day (in my opinion), but they ended up getting shut down and that's how Netherworld was born.

Okay so, first of all, they just packed us in like cattle for the main attraction so at times you had to stop and wait and that took all the fun out of it because you saw where all the actors were hiding, therefore, was no surprise when they jumped out at you. Secondly, I do have to say that their sets were AMAZING... very well done. I just wish they would've sent people into smaller groups, the affect would have been greater. And third, the second house they had was called "The Mangler" and that was better than the main one only because you didn't have to stand in line inside the attraction. We went in while everyone was almost gone, so the place was near empty inside. Now, that was creepy since there was only two of us lol. Also, they had more interaction where the actors actually got in your face and scared the hell out of you. All in all, I am not impressed and most likely won't be returning next year.

Okay, I'm done rambling. Peace!
